Massage Doula

A Massage Doula is a Certified Prenatal Massage Therapist who is trained to provide physical and emotional support to her clients during labor/ childbirth, in addition to prenatal massage therapy, birth information/readiness, and postpartum services. A Massage Doula does not perform any medical exams, and is NOT a midwife, but rather a labor support specialist helping to create a positive birth experience. A Massage Doula can support a mother in whatever birth setting she chooses including hospitals, home births, and birthing centers.

Kellony Kristof, LMT 2720 has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2008, and has certifications in prenatal massage therapy. She owns/operates Bluewater Massage & Bodywork since 2011, as well as our massage school Bluewater Institute for Massage Therapy since 2015.

Massage Doula Services include:

*Prenatal Massages for Mommy in all trimesters to help relieve the many discomforts associated with pregnancy.

*Massages for Daddy to relieve stress/anxiety of becoming a new father.

*Prenatal Couples Massage Classes teach partners how to help provide comfort & support for expecting mom both at home and during labor/delivery.

*Birth readiness including birth education, new parent education, birth plan composition, labor support person class.

*Infant Massage Instruction teaches new parents how to massage their baby, and through touch, create a strong, lasting bond. Infant massage also reduces colic, fussiness, and promotes security.

*Massage Doula birth services which provides labor and delivery support, both physically, emotionally, and educationally.
